An Eye Chart at Your Fingertips
Are you still stuck on projector charts and looking to upgrade? Our app provides a transitional solution to your growing practice. It is a subscription based model (less than the cost of a gym membership), so that you can avoid having to dish out hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars for a new digital solution. And when you are ready to upgrade to a fully automated lane, just cancel your subscription at any time!

We also provide other useful optometric resources as well as stripped down versions of our app. There is a free version (ad supported) that includes a contact lens and medication prescription guide. And for those who already have an eye chart, there is a cheaper subscription based RX creation guide for those who want to have professional looking prescriptions. Lets be nice to our pharmacists

Developers Update: I will be looking at other avenues for Apple cast development. Apple's TvOS airplay seems to support my vision and I will be exploring that ecosystem. The only thing is that developing in apple's ecosystem will be expensive as I have to buy Mac gear (Macbook, iphone, Apple Tv). Any help will be appreciated to further this development.

Ever have that patient who comes in wearing a multifocal contact lens you are unfamiliar with? Multifocal contact lens fit guides straight from the manufacturer have been added to help you with the fitting. By selecting the brand and tapping on the picture of the fitting guide, you can pinch to zoom in on finer text.

Medication
Medication module provides medication prescription guidelines as well as pediatrics and pregnancy indications. Tapping on the name will open a site to PDR.net where more information can be found. Tapping on the price will open a site to good RX where you can check on ever changing prices for your patients.

Eye Chart
The eye chart uses Chromecast to display letters on a monitor, which can then be controlled by your phone.

BYO Phone and Monitor
No proprietary hardware required. The eye chart has been calibrated for any 1920x1080 21.5" diagonal screen size monitor. You can also use any android phone, but for best compatibility, use an android phone that supports 7.0 and above.

Features
Eye chart includes Letters, Numbers, HOTV, Symbols, and tumbling E. These can be arranged in a line, multiple lines, single character, column, or single with crowding bars. It also features a shower head, red/green chart, cycling letters for fixation, near card, and a beta version of color testing.

Made with SVG
SVG or Scalable Vector Graphics means that this eye chart can be used at any reasonable distance without compromising sharpness, and a reversal letter feature means that it can also be used with mirrors.

Dictation Module for DFE and SLE
I am currently exploring voice recognition to aid in SLE and DFE. A lot of ophthalmologists hire scribes to keep up with their busy schedules. With the advent of powerful voice recognition algorithms by google, I am exploring the possibility of digitizing it all.

About Me
Optometrist by day. Engineer by night.
I grew up in the little southern town of Chapel Hill, NC. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I majored in Biomedical Engineering. I had a focus in robotics and prosthetics, and this was where I developed a passion for coding. After switching gears from engineering to optometry, I developed a passion to use my talents as a programmer to further the field of eye care.

What else do you want to see? What other modules do you want me to develop to help you become more efficient or expand your practice? Please leave us an email.
Be in Touch
Because I am a one man team with also a full time job as an optometrist, I will likely not have time to respond to emails. But if you have any suggestions please leave them in my email box. For all trouble shooting questions and concerns please leave an email and I will try to get back to you.
